Applications for this grant opportunity must propose a single clinical trial which will achieve the following outcomes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote Australian involvement in international collaborative investigator-initiated clinical trials research through the establishment and co-ordination of clinical trial site(s) in Australia; and<\/li>\n<li>Provide high-quality evidence of the effectiveness of novel health treatments, drugs or devices in &#8216;usual care&#8217; settings, which will support a decision on whether to deliver the intervention in an Australian setting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Novel health treatments include new and innovative applications of existing interventions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Minimum data due: <strong>Wednesday 31 July, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications close: <strong>Thursday 15 August, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhmrc.gov.au\/funding\/find-funding\/mrff-international-clinical-trial-collaborations-ictc-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More information on ICTC 19.2\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Register with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grants.gov.au\/?event=public.home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GrantConnect<\/a> to receive notifications on current Australian Government grant opportunities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NHMRC International Clinical Trial Collaborations (ICTC) grant opportunity is now open for the second round of Peer Reviews. &nbsp; The grants will provide support for Australian research teams to conduct clinical trial research in collaboration with international counterparts.
