The $156 million <strong>Projects Grant stream<\/strong> and the $17.6 million Ethical, Legal and Social Issues Research Grant stream.\u00a0There&#8217;s also the\u00a0$106 million <strong>Flagships stream<\/strong>. All of which form part of the Genomics Health Futures Mission (GHFM) and will be delivered over nine years from 2019-20 to 2027-28 through a number of rounds.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have an Australian Business Number (ABN)<\/li>\n<li>Be incorporated in Australia<\/li>\n<li>As per s24 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legislation.gov.au\/Details\/C2015A00116\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015<\/a>\u00a0you must be one of the following eligible bodies:\n<ul>\n<li>a medical research institute<\/li>\n<li>a university<\/li>\n<li>a corporate Commonwealth entity<\/li>\n<li>a corporation (including businesses and not for profits)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Joint applications are encouraged, provided you have a lead applicant who&#8217;s the main driver of the project and is eligible to apply.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Read more about the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grants.gov.au\/?event=public.GO.show&amp;GOUUID=F7A2EB9C-F2BC-E8DF-F0096CFA20A8ED95\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Genomics Health Futures Mission &#8211; Projects &amp; Ethics Grant Opportunities<\/a>\u00a0Applications close 3pm, Friday 31 May<\/p>\n<p>Read more about the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grants.gov.au\/?event=public.GO.show&amp;GOUUID=315A8EAC-C3BF-3607-456E3D12A0D30C1B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Genomics Health Futures Mission &#8211; Flagships &#8211; Pathogen Genomics Opportunity<\/a>\u00a0Applications close 3pm, Thursday 11 July<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Health Department has launched three Genomics Health Grant Opportunities.
